Adult Classes at Conway Tennis Club...
I like to help each person to find their own style and which mediums suits them best. My work is mostlly figurative/impressionistic but I'm happy to encourage a variety of styles and subjects
My classes usually start with a short demo. The basic skills of painting and drawing are taught . I try to pick a variety of subjects . All students are welcome to watch the demonstrations at the beginning of the session but I am also happy if students just want to get on with their own project. We have a break half way through the session for tea, coffee and cake. There's usually plenty of time to help each person in these mixed ability classes. A weekly commitment is time out for you, to enjoy painting in a friendly relaxed environment, practising and playing with paint and escaping from the mundane.
There is paint, paper, brushes, and mounts for sale or to try out at the
classes, and an annual exhibition of work. The main focus is on
watercolour but you can also use other waterbased paints like
gouache, acrylic, and waterbased oils.
Classes are held on
Mondays : Conway Tennis Club, Conway Road, Southgate.
10-12am and 1-3pm 10 week term is £95
